Dr. Grzegorz Błajszczak

In the years 1984-1994 a research worker at Warsaw University of Technology, Budapest University of Technology and Rand Afrikaans University in Johannesburg, dealing with the quality of energy and  reactive  and active load management. In 1994-1995 a specialist for international cooperation in Energoprojekt Warsaw SA. 1995-1996  manager for  reserve power supply in a French international company Schneider Electric.  1996-1999 deputy director of  implementations in the European branch of the Process Steering of Westinghouse Electric (steering of power stations and big industrial objects).

Since 1999 he has been employed in the Polish Power Grid Company (at present PSE Operator SA – a Polish Transmission System Operator) where he has dealt with system services, international settlement of energy exchange and implementation of new technologies. He is the author of over 100 research publications and a certified expert in the field of energy quality. He has been awarded the Technology Transfer Award by the Electric Power Research Institute - EPRI (USA), for works on identification of areas threatened by voltage instability. His solution improves safety of power supply and prevent blackouts.
